  format/size in sequence question re: red giant instant hd

  i am trying to use red giant’s instant hd in final cut and when i put my sd clip into a sequence set for prores (1080) it appears to already be the same size as the 1080 hd clips in the sequence when playing back. when i use the instant hd it makes the clip ridiculously huge. i am not sure why final cut is doing this, in my experience if you put something in a sequence that is a smaller size than what the sequence is set to it will appear smaller but for some reason this time it isn’t doing it. any help would be appreciated!

  Open the timeline clip in the Viewer. What does it say for SCALE?
