Keying in Final Cut Pro 7
Every time we finish rendering layers that we chroma keyed, the picture quality becomes quite blurred. When you view it on STOP mode, it’s clear, so we know the original clip is focused well. But it happens when we playback the video. Is there a way to correct this? Are we doing something wrong? Are we missing a step?

Hi Shane. Yes, I rendered. The clarity changes after we render. We also noticed that the background does not look as crisp.

And what is the codec of the footage you are using? What are your sequence settings?

Also make sure the video output card, be it AJA or BMD or whatever, also matches the footage and sequence settings. Getting all of these things on the same page is the bane of my existence.
