FCP 7 XML > REDCINE-X Pro 22 > ProRes4444 for color
I’m working on a project that has some red footage.
I was asked to generate ProRes 4444 files for grading.
I’ve generated an XML of just the RED shots and got it into a timeline in REDCINE-X Pro 22.
I have little experience with RED footage and am wondering what color and gamma space I should export with to leave the most latitude for the colorist.
Any advice and or related tips are appreciated as well.
