  • Program that does Zooms and Pans (Keyframe Shortcuts)

I am looking for basic keyframe shortcuts. Either a program that works with Final Cut or instead of Final Cut. I have to put a little bit of motion – in, out, left, right – on 400 photographs. I looked at Muvee Reveal but don’t know if it is professional quality. Apparently, it lets you create a slideshow with 50 photos – I suppose I could save 8 of those as Quicktime movies and edit them together in Final Cut.

Just looking for some way to not have to keyframe each photo individually in order to put some motion on it.

    There’s an auto-Ken-Burns effect in iPhoto…

SlickFX Photomotion works very well inside FCP 6 or 7, my second choice is FotoMagico – there’s a $39 offer on an older version – v3, just out with one of the Mac bundle companies today, but threw the email away earlier – sorry!

Sounds like PhotoMotion is the best one, so I have been watching the
    tutorials.

I have 400 photos cropped and ready to go,
with transitions, in a FCP sequence.

Is there a workflow where I can animate all or many of these by
dragging pre-made animations into individual photos? Dragging
multiple animations at a time would be even better.

    The photos already
have transitions between them – I will need the pans and zooms to start at frame
one of the beginning transition and end at the last frame of the outgoing
    transition.

Basically, I’m asking if there is a quick way to get the pans and zooms into
    the sequence.

    Thanks.

Sounds like you want Photomotion to do far more than I’ve ever done with it – why not drop the company an email? – they were most helpful when I had a minor problem.
