  FCP Import error

  Hi all

  We have an oddity here I was hoping someone may be able to explain to me.

  We have an Apple ProRes 422HQ which looks fine in QT player and also in Media Info (see read out for MI below.

  When the file is imported into FCP 7 the properties show the file as having a frame size of 1024×576. When we playback the file the image is the anamorphic image padded to the right with green so that it fits a 1024×576 window. A grab of this is available here (I think):

  Any ideas? Client says it looks fine their end. We are using OSX 10.6 and FCP 7.
