Final Cut Pro question
Hi guys
just want to ask if there’s a way to move my image by frame. like in after effects all I need to do is click the image then press any arrow key for the position and page down and up for frame. as of now I’m only using dragging the image which makes me very slow.
thanks guys if you could help me with this.thanks in advance

You can type the numbers in directly in the Motion tab rather than dragging. If you want to copy those same numbers to another shot you can copy>paste attributes>basic motion

is there no any other easy way to do that other than typing the number on the motion tab?

Are you looking for the left and right arrow keys?

If you clink on the clip, press OPT and the arrow keys, the clip will move left or right by one frame. Up and down arrows moves it up and down layers as well.

@ Shane Ross I just tried your suggestion, but it only move the layer V1 to another layer. which is not what I’m looking for, but thanks anyways for the reply ^_^

Same keys.
Make sure that IMAGE+WIREFRAME are enabled in the Canvas…in the box dropdown menu in the top of the Canvas. Then, click on the image. Then, using the OPTION key, press the arrow keys to move the image up, down, sideways.
