  Canon C300 Green screen workflow

  What’s the best workflow to bring in Canon C300 footage (1080p/29.97) to FCP7 for green screen keying. I normally use the Log & Transfer from Canon to ProRes422. Is that best way to keep the 4:2:2 color space for the best green-screen? Why I ask is, I just did that and the keys aren’t nearly as good as I usually get from other cameras I have, XDCamHD422 or even DVCProHD.

  Is there a better way to get my C300 footage into FCP for this application?

  That’s the workflow. Nothing better than ProRes for FCP. The C300 shoots the XDCam 422 codec, can FCP L&T that in native? I’ll have to check.
