  adding audio track to mono clip

  I used Canon 60D with lav mic and track in FCP7 is single. I’ve been out of editing for a while and cannot remember how to add/copy a second track in timeline just for some balance.

  Click on the track. Hold Option/Shift and drag the track downward to a new track. It will make a copy of the track and be in sync with it. Just link them and make a stereo pair and pan to center.
