Green/Distorted Frames in Video sent by client
Hello Creative Cow Community!
Problem:
I have received several video files from a client, every .mov file contains several either bright green or distorted single frames spread through each file. This problem occurs in FCP 7, VLC, Quicktime Pro, iMovie, and when the footage is uploaded to YouTube. The audio is not affected whatsoever, just random video frames.

Background:
Video was captured using a Canon Vixia HSR30 Full HD camera. The footage was stored on the internal camera hard drive and then connected directly to a MacBookPro for transfer. The client insists there are no problems with the footage on her end. The footage also lives on dropbox and there are no problems there either.
Failed Attempts at a Solution:
1. About 10 different compressions using MPEG Streamclip have not worked.
2. A friend’s iMac and MacBookPro see the same problem.
3. Downloading the files from Dropbox in every way possible see the same problem.Feel free to ask any question that will help in finding an answer!
Thank you.
