  XDCAM 422 720p 30- Weird Dimensions?

  Hello,

  I am exporting footage as XDCAM 422 720p 30. I have the size set to 1280×720.
  I notice when I view the file in Finder it appears to be 1248 x702 in finder with quicktime.

  Can anyone tell me why it is displaying the wrong size in finder? When I bring it into After effects and FCP it tells me the correct size is 1280×720.

  Is quicktime doing some weird pixel aspect correct?

  So forget about what the Finder tells you.
  The Finder is not a pro video app.
  FC and AE yes.
  The Finder and QT will tell you the on screen size, no the real resolution.
