  Weird problem with Final cut while capturing

  Hi Guys,

  For the last 6 months I’ve been experiencing some glitches while capturing on Final cut that I did not have before.
  I capture movies on final cut and the audio in pro tools, when I drop the video onto pro tools I notice it gets out of sync in random places (every movie has the glitch in different places) When you see the video it gets frozen for a second and then continues but in pro tools I don’t have the problem. The audio is good

  I have upgraded to Os x lion, to Final cut 7, all firmware from blackmagic extreme HD is up to date. I really don’t know what else to do. I even had a broadcasting tech guy come and service the HDCAM and Digibeta because that might be the problem but no, they were fine

  Does anyone here has any idea what can I do?

  Here’re the specs:
  Os x 10.7
  mac pro dual 2,66 xenon with 8 Gb RAM
  Final cut 7.03
  blackmagic extreme HD
  Sony HDcam hdw1800
  Sony digibeta dvw-2000
  all video recorded onto a 4 TB with plenty of space (audio onto an internal drive)
  Settings for HD: blackmagic 1080i 60 59.94
  setting for SD: Blackmagic NTSC imx 50 mb

  Could it be that the video card is going bad? Also, I have saved a few seconds from the glitch in case you guys wanna see it (just the video freezes)

  There was no problem at all with any of the drives

  Os x update I did it straight from apple and I used FCP remover to delete Final cut 6 and I installed a fresh copy of Final cut 7

  Do you think that the video card is going bad? I can’t figure where this is coming from but it has to be a video hardware or software issue
