    Hi,
I know this question comes up a lot but everyone seems to have a slightly different problem. Here’s mine:

I want to edit iphone 4 footage and mix it with Canon rebel t4i footage that I have currently transcoded to Apple 422 Proxy. (end product will be posted on Vimeo) If I import the footage straight from the finder, I have to render it. If I try to convert w compressor, my only options for Apple ProRes involve keeping the original frame rate (24), but I need 23.98.

Anybody have a good workflow? Many thanks!

Well, you are right, you do need to convert to ProRes. The frame rate…it should do that. In Compressor, go to the Inpector, Click on the ENCODER tab, then click on SETTINGS for VIDEO. Change it from CURRENT to CUSTOM,and type in “23.976.”
