• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Had to transfer my project, feature film on FCP 6.0.6, to another computer; NOW, timeline is filled with ERROR MESSAGES!

  HELP!
  I will try and be short and succint.

  The logic board on my Power Mac G5 – in which I was using 6.0.6 to edit my feature film, died.

  I bought another Power Mac g5 from craigslist, and it had Final Cut – already.

  All my feature film data is an external hard drive, so when I opened my project on the new/old machine – it opened up fine. However, as the movie played on my Timeline, I kept gettting “General Error” messages!

  I un-installed Final Cut and re-installed it with all the updates – NO GOOD! Still”error messages” periodically on my timeline.

  My entire film is pretty much complete, unti this.

  HELP!!! I am willing to compensate you:) Thank you!! jd

  Open and save your project with a different name and see if that helps.
