    Hi all,

I’m hoping someone can help me. I have a very large project that needs a final render. I don’t have enough space on my HD to contain all of the render files this project will spit out. As such, I’m trying to make my render files output to a 1TB harddrive I have available to me; otherwise my HD runs out of space and the project times out midrender, and I have to start the whole 5 hours over again.

I’ve gone into Final Cut Pro System Settings and changed it so that the render files SHOULD be going into my external drive – at least, I think I have done this. Even with all these settings in place, the render files are still spitting out into my computer’s HD, which means I’ve hit a wall on getting this project done. Can anyone advise – please?
