    Hi there,

I just installed Mountain Lion on my Macbook Pro late 2011 as it’s required for Pluraleyes syncing software. I’m exporting a video file from FCP, which is nearly an hour long and it seems to freeze around 23% when writing audio and video and has risen from an estimated 1hr to an estimate 4hr export time. Since then, I’m getting no advance on the progress bar.

I’ve read many a comment on here and other forums that suggest FCP7 isn’t the most compatible with Mountain Lion, but when I first started it up, all seemed to be in order and working well.

The export is simply a Quicktime self-contained movie from the timeline settings.

I’m trying to get this out the door as soon as possible, so would greatly appreciate if anyone can offer advice as to whether there are known issues with Mountain Lion and FCP7 exporting, whether there is a quicker way to export this video, or any solution that might help.

    Thanks,

    Nick
