    It was 2/3’s full and I desperately need to get the footage off of it. When I put it in my IMac’s side slot, Log and Transfer is not reading it. I’m using FCP 7.0.3.

    I’ve found some software that looks like will possibly extract the files (Rescue 4).

    But, how then is the conversion to Apple Pro Res done?

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    If you are able to save the .MTS or whatever that camera records, you can use 5DtoRGB or ClipWrap to convert the files to Prores.
