How to acheive blacklight look in CS3?
Hey guys first time poster, long time listener. sry. Im new to this.
I am looking to acheive a black light lit room look from regular footage in AE CS3. I have come to a roadblock and dot know how to acomplish this. Can anyone tell me how, give me pointers, or make a preset:)
Also, if you have any info on how i should shoot the footage before doing this, let me know.

have you tried getting a bunch of blacklights, some day-glow colors and shooting a test… you could then add glow or some color adjustments to help bring out the glowing colors…
otherwise i think you are looking at a day-for-night like approach, but also choosing a color that will be keyed to make glow, like it was under a black light…

Thanks. I have a general idea, but i just got stuck @ a point. I have a lot of different colors that are affected by the black light in the scene, and dont know how to seperate them all so each color stands out as it should. Would I use autotrace on some of the people walking, or how should i differentiate?
I wanted it to eventually transform into a day shot. Would I be better off just reshoting everything in a blacklit room, then normalizing it?

Have you considered keying out the individual colours you want to keep. Then using that layer as an inverted track matte on a copy of your original footage before apply hue/saturation. If you do this for each colour you should be able to build up a uv look.
Alternatively, have you tried colorama or shine to achieve the UV feel?
