FCP7 L&T will not alow mounting avchd folders
Hi there
I’v been using fcp7 l&t with avchd from pann hmc150 successfuly for more more than 3 years. Recantly cannot mount any of my folders I did before. I get -the file structure error – I know file structure didnt change! trashed prefs shut down tried to import from the camera – Nada. anyone have any experience with this?

Hi Asaf,
That probably could be more a system related issue than something due to FC.
Try repairing permissions, and if that doesn’t work, I would recommend you to use Diskwarrior to optimize the directories.

didnt work for me tried DW and permission repair still cannot mount folders in to l&t

Whenever that happened to me, it was because something changed in the folder / File structure of the Card Folders.
If that is not the case, maybe something with your HD you stored the files on.
Maybe try once, to copy one of your Card Folders to another drive and try it again.Let me know, if that helped.

Maybe, there is something about your FCP studio that is wrong. Did you ever try to bring the HD to a friend, who runs FCP as well? If not, try once if his/hers recognize the folders.
