  Drawing flat lines – cartoon style

  Hi.
  I have to create a composition in which several lines have to come to the screen (like drawn). I-m not talking of lines like 3D stroke, but much like flat cartoon style. I-m thinking of drawing those in Illustrator than import them in AE.
  But then how can I give them a 3D turn, like if they were twirling? I tried with bezier warp but that doesn-t redraw the back of composition with the result of creating a hole in the line when I drag the corner pin to modify the picture.
  Is there any way to have custum 3d stroke like particulars?
