I’m cutting a Christmas sequence similar to the one in this link and would like to mimic the graphic swirl overlays that appear at about 7 secs in. Can anyone please advise the easiest and cheapest way to achieve this effect? I’m using Final Cut Studio and am a proficient user of FCP 7, though not when it comes to graphics obviously!

    Happy Christmas!

Motion comes with some great pre-built ones. Open up Motion, go the the Library tab. Click on Content, Drawings and then you have 33 customizable Ornaments. They draw on and everything. Select the one you like and drag it over to your canvas. Save the Motion project file and then return to FCP. Bring the Motion Project in like it is a video clip and bam. You just need to render.
