• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Starting FCP7 screen goes black. All other programs fine.

  As soon as FCP7 loads, the screen goes black. I can toggle thru the programs and only FCP7 goes black. In fact, when in Finder, FCP is fully visible, but as soon as I click on it (FCP7), the screen goes black. I can quit FCP7 by cmd+Q .

  Press ESC or CMD-F12. You are in FULL SCREEN PLAYBACK mode.

  Thanks, Shane, but that didn’t do it. I tried both esc. and cmd+f12. I used to have a red panic button on my studio keyboard… where is it when I need it! 😉
