  My play back monitor doesn’t play the Time Line

  Hi Gang

  I haven’t changed any thing
  I edit FCP from my Mac to main monitor that works
  but the second monitor doesn’t play it back
  Is that controlled with Preferences and what is the Magic

  How are the monitors linked to your computer?

  Make sure your video playback settings are correct with sequence settings?

  If you use a Kona or other card you will need to check in the settings for the card also

  the play back was working
  I made no changes or pulled cords
  and the monitor works but doesn’t play the Time – Line
  I’ve tried the FCP preferences and my MAC– no go
