  Mixed footage 1440 and 1920 on one timeline

  Hey all,
  I have a mix of footage shot on HDV and on a 5dMIII. I’ve converted them both to prores LT, but one is 1440×1080 and the other is at 1920×1080, and they don’t seem to behave perfectly when they’re on the same timeline (whichever one I don’t set the sequence presets for gives me that green, quasi-rendered notice above it). Anyone have any generic or specific advice on working with mixed media like this in one sequence?

  Use a ProRes timeline…like you are. Doesn’t matter that one is 1440…it’ll stretch out to fill the 1920 frame. And HDV is better in a ProRes sequence, than ProRes in an HDV sequence.
