With all the money the government is throwing around out there, there must be a grant program to help someone who wants to learn FCP and can’t afford the big bucks it takes to enroll in a training program in their area…or go out and buy an iMac, or Mac Pro, buy a copy of FCP and pay someone to train them, so they can get a job…when they already have 2 degrees in art!
Does anyone know where, how or who?

Try the friendly folks in Pueblo Colorado’s government info office… or the NEA.

More close to home, you know there is good basic operations training built right into the software and in the manual that came with it, right? Have you DONE those tutorials yet? Next, there’s tons of free tutorials here on the COW, as well as sites like Video University, etc. Just a google away. Plus books and DVDs on Amazon and ebay and even youtube. What have you done so far on your own initiative?

Or use Lynda.com. It’s $25/month, which won’t exactly break the bank (just give up the morning Starbucks once per week and you’ve got your $25 for the month! 😉
