  GoPro Hero2 -> DV50, 16:9

  I do backup shooting with a GoPro Hero2. It records MP4 in 1920×1080.

  I shoot SD, DV50, 16:9.

  I need a little help with the export settings. I can choose to export to DVCPRO50 PAL, but I wish to scale down to PAL widescreen. (1024×576, or rather 720×576, but with widescreen).

  you can use MPGStreamclip as well.
  Set 720×576. Forget about “pixels aspect’. When you import to FCP, check th stuff as Anamorphic.
