  Remove unwanted article – AE or photoshop

  I have been trying to find a tutorial -either AE or Photoshop (CS5.5) – that covers how to remove the crowbar from this shot.

  I can work out how to do it when its in the clear but am struggling to get my head around the technique for when it is partly behind the guys legs

  I was hoping to find a tutorial that covered doing something similar that would give me a head start.
  I can find plenty that remove spots from peoples faces but have yet to come across one that is close to what I am trying to achieve
