  Achieving Photoshops Chrome in AE

  Hi there,

  How can I achieve the chrome effect as seen in Photoshops effects library in AFter Effects?
  I have tried Eyecandy for After Effects but this is no where near as good as Photoshops.

  Please see below for a deatiled description of what i want to achieve.

  Hi Jeff,

  Try this simple method:

  -Duplicate your layer.

  -Apply the “Channel Mixer” effect to the top later and check the “Monochrom” box

  -Apply now CC Plastic still to the top layer, play with the Cut Min, Height parameters & especially light!

  -Set the transfer mode to Luminosity

  This should give you a very close look.

  …export video in an image/animation format such as TIF, BMP, etc.

  …open Photoshop..

  …record effect to one video image file in Photoshop,

  …batch update with recorded keystokes.

  …import resulting image sequence files into ANY video editor (i.e., NLE) or AE.

  Done… with EXACT Photoshopt effect.
