  FCP 6.0 crashes with 2nd external drive added

  I been using FCP 6.0 for years without ever experiencing any crashes. I just added a second external Firewire drive and all of a sudden I’m experiencing multiple crashes each day! Coincidence or not? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  From what you told us, you just troubleshot your problem. We don’t have any other specs to go by.

  I ran the Mac Disc Utility on the 2 external drives and there are no problems. The only problem appears to be an “invalid volume directory count” on the internal Mac HD. The directory count if off by 1. Any idea on how to correct that? That problem prevents me from running a disc repair on the Mac HD.
