  Problem with Soundtrack Pro changing 1 audio track to 2 tracks

  When I export a single track of audio from FCP to Soundtrack Pro for noise reduction it converts it to 2 channels of audio. How can I get a single track? I’ve tried both roundtripping (send to STP audio project) and exporting to AIFF. My file in FCP is unlinked and the only item in that sequence.
