  2K realtime output @ 24 FPS w Kona 3G – not possible ?

  Hello,
  I’m editing a feature shot on Alexa @24 anamorphic.
  Monitoring 2048×1556 thru Decklink works basically, but whenever
  there’s a ‘black hole’ in my sequence, a title coming up –
  the DL output tends to freak out, showing greenish images, randomly
  flickering a.s.o.
  So we purchased a Kona 3G – but until today we cannot get it to
  output 2K @ 24 FPS….
  Downconvert to HD ‘kind of’ works – but not full res.
  Does anyone of you guys have it working in your suites ?
  Seems like even the AJA guys never tested it – but advertise it.
  So we’re pretty frustrated at the moment.
  (FCP 7.0.3. OSX 10.7.3, BMD HD LinkPro 3D, ProjectionDesign Beamer).

  I’ve seen this work fine. Tried reinstalling the Kona drivers?

  8-Core 3.0 Intel Mac Pro, Dual 2 gig G5, AJA Kona SD, AJA Kona 2, Huge Systems Array UL3D, AJA Io HD, 17″ MBP, Matrox MXO2 with MAX – Cinema Displays I have a 22″ that I paid 4k for still working. G4 with Kona SD card, and SCSI card.

  Thanks Jerry.
  Helps a lot to have someone seen it working at least.
  So we’ll keep on trying.
  Did all the driver combinations, but the problem might
  be our monitoring chain then (HDlink box / grading monitor).
