    hay!

ii have a MAc, Macos X, and want to open an old project.in FCP 7.0.3. but by opening it says, when he imports a movie file:
    status error -128
he cannot find the file: …(name of clip)av1
is there anything i can do to open this file?
i have thrown away my old preferences in FCP, and this problem does not appear with new projects anymore.
he always makes this av1 fils when i export a movie.

    thanks a lot!!

    eva

Do you still have the original video file that you can try to relink it to?

[Eva Heijningen] “he always makes this av1 fils when i export a movie.”
This usually indicates that the files were saved to an Unnamed Folder.

oh thanks! but why he cannot find it anymore? i cannot open them in quicktime.
i dont remeber i have thrown it away.

is it because he could not make the files longer then 10 minutes?

    thanks!
