Running Compressor 3.5.3 which can create content for Apple TV with its ‘H.264 for Apple Devices.’
    This allows a maximum size of “16:9 (960 x 720)”
Does anyone know if/how to use this to create 1920 x 1080 content for the AppleTV?

    Thanks,
    Neil.

Until recently Apple TV didn’t do full 1920×1080 HD. So old versions of Compressor won’t have presets for that. You’ll have to change the settings yourself manually to get full sized HD.

That’s part of the problem Shane, that that Preset – ‘H.264 for Apple Devices’ – doesn’t allow you to change most of the parameters, including Frame Size.

You need to create a manual custom h.264 setting in Compressor.
