  Problems copy-pasting clips from one sequence to another

  Hi people, i guess it’s gonna be a rookie question but:

  I’m copy-pasting some clips from a sequence to another, into the same project, and some gaps are appearing at the begining of some clips. It’s like everything looks the same than in the copied clips excpet these lost frames at some beginings, under an aparently “random law”.

  The sequence settings are the same. What could it be, then?

  This is an indication that the frame rates of both sequences are different. One is 23.98 the other is 29.97. If you paste a series of cuts from one frame rate to another, that causes this to happen. The sequence frame rates need to match.

  Thanks a lot Shane.

  Is it possible to fix it? I’ve tried it through the sequence settings but i cannot do that: I am changing the rate in the advanced part of the Quick time video settings, but once i have done it, it tells me to do it with another tool or part i have no idea were is it, the Editing Timebase…
