  • Can’t Find FCP Preference Folders in 10.7.4

Posted by Matt Hawley on July 17, 2012 at 8:21 pm

I upgraded my system(Macbook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo) to 10.7.4 and I cannot find any of my FCP preference folders. They should be located in the ~Library/Preferences/ folder however they are no longer there. I ran a search on my Mac and it couldn’t find any folders or files that obviously exist somewhere.

Where are all my preference files being stored? I need to trash preferences and clear up an issue I’m having with a FCP “Out of Memory” warning.

Check out Digital Rebellion’s website. They have a free app that will do the work for you.

I’m having the same issue. No FCP preference folder.
Had a KGCore crash trying to use Magic Bullet Looks. Was hoping that would help as I’ve never trashed my FCP preferences (Since 2010)
