Hmm. Anyone out there with a solution?

Need to create a 3D appearing line that attaches to a track point on a walking guy’s hand. (Not a light trail. More like a rope that can swing in 3D space). Played around with Trapcode 3D stroke – but that seems to only create it’s line on mask shape outlines. And the pain with mask shapes is you can’t set nodes individual XYZ coords. So I don’t seem to have a way to link the tracker info onto the start and endpoints of the 3D stroke.

Anyone out there with working recipe?

Try searching the COW for “track vertices”. I believe there is a script that will allow you to attach tracked points to mask vertices.
