Final Cut Pro 7 Crashes On Me, Using Fiber Optic Connections
Hello All!
I am having difficulty with my final cut pro 7 software. I am connected via fiber optics to a 22TB server.
I understand that the connection is faster than cat5 cables. Here are my issues of crashing:-Flickering of my viewing screens (pink and green) then it crashes
-Multiple camera syncs with picture in picture boxes, turns to black then crashes
-My thumbnails on each clip start flashing, then there are no thumbnails, then it crashesWhen I run a cat5 cable instead of using fiber optics this doesn’t happen at all.
One way to save my files before crashing would be to quickly hit command+H, hide everything and bring it back up. The program runs back to normal.Could it be there’s too many clips? Too much memory? Why is this happening through a fiber optic connection?
I ran a diagnostic check and my connects/server/transfer is fine.
Thank you all, I am a first time member here and definitely appreciate what creativecow.com does for users like me.
