    Hey,

I did the edit of a short film, and the soundmix lab is asking me for a “QuickTime DMX-36” file….
Do you know what it is ? And can I export it from FCP ?

    thanks a lot

I have never heard of this codec and a Google search reveals only one other hit apart from this Cow post.

Ask them for something a bit more standard. I presume they can play quicktime files with more than one codec so ask them what other options that FCP can create might be.

Almost all video for audio systems can use H264 files but check with them about frame size. mpeg2 is also a standard.

DNxHD36 perhaps? That’s an Avid codec.
