  FCP X to FCP 7

  Hi all, I am an aspiring editor and am teaching myself. I bought FCP X only to find I must learn to use FCP 7 also.

  I wanted to know if I can install FCP7 on my mac when I already have FCP X.
  Will this overwrite FCP X?
  Will it cause any problems?
  Will I need to get rid of FCP X first?
  Is there a certain way I have to do this?

  You would have to uninstall FCP X to install FCP 7
