  How do I clean audio from loud air conditioner?

  I’m editing a documentary that was shot in a gymnasium. The first half of the documentary a loud air conditioner can be heard, the second half it completely goes away. How do I get rid of this noise in Final Cut?

  Getting rid of the noise totally may be an issue depending on the loudness/frequency of the noise compared to the audio you want to keep.

  However you can use Soundtrack Pro to filter the noise.
