  • Audio Tracks Locked Together?

OK. So I tried to find an answer for this but came up empty.

Working on a project where I want to duplicate the right track to replace an audio issue on the left track… I cannot select an individual track (I am trying to select the right channel of a stereo audio track). Every time I try and select it it automatically selects both the left and the right. I tried locking the left track to try and individually select the right but when I do that FC tell me that I cannot because one of the tracks is locked. The left and the right tracks seemed to be glued together. How can I “unglue” them?

I tried to open the track up in Soundtrack but when I got there I couldn’t do anything there either (couldn’t use the blade tool, or even edit the tracks at all but that’s another question completely).

I probably am missing something obvious here. Can anyone shed some light on this?
