  FCP Viewr and canvas quality issue quandry

  Hi , this is my first post so here goes when I play a piece of footage in the viewer and cut a section and place it in the canvas the footage in the canvas has lost some quality can anyone help.

  you will need to give more details about the footage, settings, etc.

  Hi, the footage was shot on a canon600d at 25fps I converted this with aunsoft using the codec apple prores 422 LT, which is meant to good for DSLR, hope this helps.
