Heroes TVShow Effects
hey, i just wanna ask if it would be possible to make a tutorial on how to produce those cool effects on the tv show Heroes? specifically on their abilities.
There’s this one person who was able to create the effects almost the same to effects presented in the tv show. For a sample, here’s one video he made: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdTMYPqdHkM
please do make a tutorial for this, i’d really love to see you guys teach us!!

he goes over quite a bit of stuff that is similar to those effects you see in those youtube videos.

That example just looks like a classic case of abusing the Lens Flare effect, maybe with some Shine thrown in for good measure =)

Yeah,
Looks to me as a lot of lens flare effects, Glows, and maybe rotoscopeing combined with compositing.And the earth effect looks like he just used cc Sphere and some more lens flare.
From what I saw it does not look that difficult. Play with the lens flare and you can make a lot more then just the cheezy lens flare.
