  3rd party plug-ins and CS3 / Intel upgrade

  Just upgraded to intel 8 core and CS3.
  I’ve purchased or downloaded all the necessary updates to restore all my 3rd party plug ins.
  They all work fine in CS3 EXCEPT…
  Projects created with AE 6.5 or 7 load with some missing plug ins (even though the new versions are loaded and working fine.)
  I can manually replace all the instances (all the missing effects show all their parameters)but that’s a pain.
  what am I missing?
