  Convert before or after Sync?

  Looking for some guidance.

  Should I convert my raw Canon 5d and 7d footage into ProRes 422 before I sync it with audio or can I sync audio prior to converting to ProRes.

  I’m syncing in Duel Eyes and converting in FCP natively. (would you recommend converting in MPEG Streamclip or something else other than FCP).

  I notice Dual Eyes makes its own .MOV file and I can’t tell whether or not it matters…
