  Clips In FCP 7 Timeline Have Randomly Changed Size When Re-Opening The Project.

  I’ve recently completed a project in FCP 7. During playback in the timeline everything was fine and all the shots were correct. The project was saved and closed. On re-opening the project several of the clips have changed size?? there seems to be cropping on the left and right sides of the footage. when opening the clip in the viewer and looking in the motion tab the footage is full size. also the clip settings seem to be fine and when i re drag in footage from the source footage from my bin the clip appears in the correct size again. Any ideas?

  Sounds like you’re editing h.264 clips from a DSLR without first transcoding. Am I close?
