  • Which clips have filters and which filters?

Posted by Grant Walls on February 9, 2012 at 12:04 am

    Hello,

Unlike Avid, FCP doesn’t seem to show which clips have filters. Besides double clicking every shot is there a way to find out which clips have which filter?

    Cheers,

    Grant

Gang the canvas and in the viewer select the filters tab. Now arrow from clip to clip and you will see the filters on each clip

You can also type opt+t to reveal an area under the clips which shows a green line for filters applied, and a blue line for motion effects applied.
