Problems capturing from Sony VO-9850p into Decklink Extreme 3D with FCP
Hi guys,
I’m having trouble trying to capture a bunch of old BVU tapes.
We purchased a VO-9850p and the machine works fine.
When I try and capture a tape, there are intermittent black flashes on the capture. This is not replicated when viewing the monitor out feed from the machine.
I think it might have something to do with the lack of timecode coming from the machine and sync issues?
I tried searching but there isn’t a lot of info on the net regarding these old things!

I think you need a time base corrector between the video tape machine and your capture card. It sounds like that to me any way.
