found it, thx. my main problem is that im working in 525 23.98 sequence and trying to upres to 1920. fcp doesnt give an option to play out at 525 23.98. thoughts? thx again…..

Ah. That’s a problem. SD doesn’t run at 23.98. There is no outPut video signal for it. You’d have to play out as 29.97, adding pulldown. But capture doesn’t remove pulldown.

Best doing this via software then. compressor.
