  Remove Grain filter outline

  So, I’ve applied the remove grain filter to a clip but can’t seem to get rid of the preview area outline.

  I set it to “final out put”, but the outline remains. There are several other effects applied to the layer as well.

  I’ve tried restarting, everything.

  Any ideas?

  okay. I had a mask on that layer. The mask doesn’t seem to want to play nice with the remove grain filter.

  I’ll just have to pre-compose it and then copy the mask onto the new comp.
