how to sync audio that isn’t in sync with itself?!
I’m trying to sync some audio in final cut and although the waves are matched the audio in one of them isnt representing the waves. I’ve never come across something like this so not even sure how to explain it. its a wav audio created with soundbooth and plays fine when listened to in sony vegas. is there a setting of sorts that needs to be matched? usually the audio at least matches its own waves!

This is most likely a mismatch between the interpreted time code of the wav file and the sequence setting.

i’m using .wav files.
i’m trying to match up the waveforms from the microphone audio to the camera audio, however the waveforms on the microphone audio which is a .wav file is not in sync with itself…if there is a loud sound and i can see it on the track as high waveforms i actually hear it before the head gets to that part. is this clearer? -
thanks, do you know how i can fix this without changing the other audio?

I’ve converted the audio to match the setting in FCP and the camcorder audio but I’m still getting the same issue…?
